Leistungsdichte erzeugt erhebliche W\u00e4rme. Aufgrund der Gr\u00f6\u00dfenordnung der Rechenauslastung und -dichte k\u00f6nnen Server in einer HPC-Umgebung ungef\u00e4hr 30 Prozent w\u00e4rmer als herk\u00f6mmliche Computerplattformen werden. Insbesondere in einem \u00e4lteren Rechenzentrum, in dem die K\u00e4ltesysteme f\u00fcr erheblich geringere Leistungsdichten ausgelegt sind, wird durch HPC eine ineffektive oder unzureichende K\u00e4ltekapazit\u00e4t sichtbar.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Fl\u00fcssigkeits- und Tauchk\u00fchlung wird in Rechenzentren zunehmend zum Standard, und diese M\u00f6glichkeiten m\u00fcssen heute ber\u00fccksichtigt werden, um den sich \u00e4ndernden Anforderungen in der nahen Zukunft Rechnung zu tragen.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Das Uptime Institute best\u00e4tigte k\u00fcrzlich, dass der durchschnittliche PUE-Wert (Power Usage Effectiveness) f\u00fcr ein Rechenzentrum im Jahr 2020 genau 1,58 betr\u00e4gt, was nur unwesentlich besser ist als vor
