Video security interlock

Innovative, Safe, Reliable: Our 3D Camera Security Gate

A video security interlock is an automated control system that uses video and sensors to secure and monitor access by people or vehicles, such as trucks at terminals.

High Knowledge's video security interlock is designed for controlled personnel access to data centres and other sensitive areas. It combines 3D camera sensing with coordinated door control.

At High Knowledge, we understand the growing security needs in a rapidly changing world. That's why we are proud to introduce you to our latest achievement: the innovative security gate with a state-of-the-art 3D camera system, designed for maximum safety of people and material.

Mehrstufige Zutrittskontrolle

The High Knowledge video interlock combines several access-control steps. The functions used depend on protection requirements and the agreed security concept:

Dual door system:
The lock includes two on-site doors - the outer door and the inner door. Both are designed to open outwards, optimizing the lock space.

Innovative use of space:
In the rectangular lock room with an area of approximately 4.5 square meters, our system implements empty space monitoring using a laser scanner as well as a person isolation system, equipped with highly developed 3D sensors.

Maximum security through automation:
We optionally offer automation of the doors with revolving door drives. This ensures smooth and secure access control. In their basic position, both doors are firmly locked. This further increases security.

Technological Superiority

Our security vestibule uses time-of-flight (ToF) technology to determine distances from emitted and reflected light. The resulting depth data supports spatial detection within the vestibule.

High Knowledge manufactures the video security vestibule itself. We align sensors, door controls and operating procedures with the intended application. The following figures describe the envisaged configuration; dimensions and equipment are specified for each project.

Dimensions and connection

Height
approx. 2,500 mm
Width
approx. 1,400 mm
Length
approx. 2,685 mm
Power supply
230 V / 50 Hz

Dimensions can be adapted to the project. We establish space requirements, door swing clearances and installation conditions before implementation.

Flexible and safe control

The freely programmable controller connects sensors and door sequences. Both doors are locked in their default state. The specific release logic is aligned with the security and operating concept.

During planning, we clarify access permissions, interfaces with existing access control, fault responses, and requirements for escape routes and door safety. Applicable requirements are assessed for the specific configuration.

User-friendly and intuitive

3D sensors support single-person passage; a laser scanner monitors whether the vestibule is empty. Swing-door operators are available as an option for automated doors.

Detection tasks, permitted objects and operating procedures are specified for each project. Functional testing and operator training form part of an agreed commissioning plan.

Video security portal: coordinating sensors and operations

3D sensing with time of flight

Time-of-flight sensing determines distance from the travel time or phase shift of emitted light. Depth information supplements two-dimensional imaging. Coverage and installation must be matched to the monitored passage.

Authorisation and single-person passage

Access control checks authorisation while portal logic supervises the sequence. Door states, releases and sensing within the portal must be evaluated together. Handling accompanying persons and material transport is defined in advance.

Faults and safe procedures

Communication loss, blocked doors and interrupted power need defined responses. Escape-route and fire safety requirements are coordinated with locking logic. Operators need clear signals and an agreed fault-resolution procedure.

Project-specific functional testing

Commissioning tests agreed access, fault and tampering scenarios. Detection performance and interfaces are specified and documented for the actual configuration. Sensor technology alone does not establish a blanket security or detection guarantee.

Plan secure access together
