Funding management.
Support investment decisions
Funding for data centres, buildings and IT infrastructure: we assess suitable opportunities, support applications and coordinate deadlines, evidence and monitoring. Technical design and funding strategy develop together, from the initial idea to project completion.
Funding advice grounded in technical expertise
A funding programme alone does not make a project viable. What matters is which measures support your goals, which costs may qualify and what evidence is required. We combine funding advice with experience in data centres, building services, energy efficiency and IT infrastructure.
The result is a transparent funding strategy for new construction, expansion or modernisation. You can assess realistic opportunities, conditions that affect your design and the work involved in obtaining support. Investments must remain sound independently of potential funding.

Funding analysis and funding bodies
We assess funding opportunities at EU, federal, state and, where relevant, municipal level. Depending on the instrument, public authorities, programme administrators, development banks or your relationship bank may be involved. Grants, subsidised loans and other financing instruments differ in purpose, eligibility and administration.
Selection depends on the applicant, company size, location, project and timetable. Public bodies, municipal companies, SMEs and larger businesses may face different conditions. A funding matrix maps potential instruments to measures and cost items and identifies outstanding checks.
Applications and project timing
We coordinate funding applications with design, tendering and commissioning. Whether a contract or a particular activity counts as the start of the project depends on the applicable conditions and is checked early. Submitting an application does not automatically authorise a project to begin.
The agreed scope covers preparation of application documents, technical descriptions, allocation of costs and support with follow-up questions. Required specialist evidence and responsibilities are defined. Applications are coordinated with the applicant and, where necessary, supported by a power of attorney.
Deadlines, changes and drawdown
After approval, we bring the relevant conditions, dates and responsibilities together in a shared overview. We support drawdown requests, allocate evidence to funded measures and maintain a transparent record of progress.
Changes to technology, costs, scope or scheduling may affect funding. They are therefore recorded early and coordinated with the responsible body where required. When several funding instruments are involved, we check permitted combinations and the allocation of costs.
Evidence of use and monitoring
Funding management continues beyond the approval decision. We plan evidence collection from the outset: invoices, payment records, technical documentation and, where applicable, measurements are brought together systematically. Reporting requirements, indicators and retention periods follow the binding conditions of the specific project.
Where savings or operating indicators must be demonstrated, we align the measurement concept and data collection with the design. This supports later evaluation and prevents gaps between technical implementation and the funding record.
Experience from client projects
We have already helped clients obtain funding exceeding one million euros. This experience informs our assessment of technical measures, application preparation and structured evidence management.
For data centre modernisation, energy efficiency and building services in particular, linking funding analysis with a feasibility studyat an early stage is valuable. We consider total cost of ownershipwhen comparing options. The strategy can then lead into coordinated technical design .
The results stated relate to previous client projects. Eligibility, funding amounts and approval are assessed separately for every project; the responsible funding body makes the decision.
Frequently asked questions about funding management
When should funding advice begin?
Ideally before binding orders or construction contracts are placed. Funding conditions, project commencement rules and evidence requirements can then inform the design in time. Permitted preparatory steps are checked for the specific instrument.
What information is needed to get started?
A short project description, details of the applicant and location, an initial budget and timetable, and any available plans and consumption data. In the initial discussion, we identify any additional information needed for a sound funding assessment.
Is the service limited to particular funding programmes?
Analysis starts with your project and spans funding programmes. Funding opportunities and conditions change. At each decision point, we therefore assess which options are available, how they fit together and what requirements apply.
