Our sustainable data center solutions.
Data center certification is essential.
Data center certification is essential to ensure sustainability, security and resilience. The rapid development of digitization has meant that the existing data center infrastructure regularly reaches its limits. In order to be able to cover the increased demand, further expansion and increased energy requirements are unavoidable. With the number of workloads installed in data centers already quintupling since 2010, this increase is expected to continue in the future.
Data centers are essential for many different areas of our modern connected world. They are the basis for emergency admissions, operation planning or the dispensing of medicines in the hospital. Equally important are data centers for energy supply or municipal services. Production parts for the automotive industry as well as flight, traffic or traffic light control in large cities are not possible without data centers. In almost every area of life, we are dependent on data centers due to today's networking.
Data centers are playing an increasingly important role in our society and it is therefore important to build and operate them in an energy-efficient and climate-friendly manner. It is important to identify and exploit potential for efficiency; to produce the electricity required for the operation of data centers as climate-friendly as possible. For this purpose, transparent and comprehensible requirements for the climate-neutral operation of data centers must be defined - suitable framework conditions are needed here. With an efficient, climate-friendly, reliable and high-performance data center infrastructure, the competitiveness of the European and German economy can be strengthened and sustainability and climate protection goals can be achieved at the same time.
TÜV Rheinland's "Sustainable Data Center" certification is a comprehensive opportunity for companies and the public sector to confirm that their data centers meet high standards in terms of energy efficiency, resource conservation and CO2 emissions.
We offer a variety of data center certification options. and have not only developed new certification standards, but also contributed as a co-author of norms and standards, both nationally and internationally. We have all the relevant official accreditations to be able to guide you safely through the entire certification process. Rely on our extensive know-how and contact our certification team.
